Main Aims of Community Transport Gloucestershire Partnership:


    * To raise the profile and image of Community Transport in Gloucestershire

    * To increase resources for Community Transport services in Gloucestershire

    * To work towards attracting longer term financial support

    * To develop and share best practice in Community Transport in Gloucestershire

    * To set standards for Community Transport in Gloucestershire

    * To act as a voice for Community Transport Providers in Gloucestershire

    * To act as an independent pressure group when necessary.


The operational work addresses:


    * Funding issues of common nature

    * Quality of Service

    * Training needs and courses

    * Representation and Accountability on outside bodies

    * Publicity and profile building of Community Transport

    * Legal and H&S changes affecting the sector

    * Common approaches to various situations

    * Ensuring the group is open, democratic, and accountable

    * Serves all its members equally
